About Phillip

Phillip Teno, RMT, has been dedicated to the practice and education of massage therapy for over 25 years. A graduate of massage therapy in 1999, Phillip has been actively practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since the beginning of his career, bringing extensive clinical experience and a patient-focused approach to care. Since 2000, Phillip has also worked as an instructor in massage therapy education, helping to mentor and guide future healthcare professionals. He currently teaches at Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), where he shares his knowledge of anatomy, assessment, therapeutic techniques, and patient-centered treatment. In addition to massage therapy, Phillip has incorporated cupping therapy and therapeutic laser treatments into his practice for the past 15 years, using these modalities to support pain relief, tissue recovery, mobility, and overall client wellness. His approach combines hands-on treatment with evidence-informed techniques tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. He has also worked as a peer assessor in accreditation of Massage Therapy schools across Canada. At Upper Beaches Health and Wellness, Phillip provides individualized treatment plans designed to support pain management, rehabilitation, stress reduction, and long-term wellness. His combination of clinical experience, continuing education, and years of teaching allows him to deliver thoughtful, comprehensive care to patients of all ages and activity levels.
