Phashan Llewellyn opened Solace Massage Therapy in 2008. She became registered in 2007 by the CMTBC after completing a three year specialized program at the accredited college, West Coast College of Massage Therapy, in Victoria, BC.
As a therapist she has a strong background in fitness and strongly believes in integrating patient education and self-awareness into her treatments resulting in patient self care and long term relief.
Phashan utilizes several techniques depending on the type of treatment, therapeutic, relaxation or both. She integrates swedish techniques, muscle energy, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, myofascial release, remedial exercise and hydrotherapy. Within a treatment, Phashan develops a treatment plan for the patient incorporating home care and remedial exercises to achieve long term goals.
