As a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, Peter takes a holistic and individualized approach to care. He believes in the interconnectedness of the body and mind, recognizing that physical well-being can be deeply influenced by our mental and emotional state. Effective treatment begins with truly listening to each person, understanding where they are in their health journey, and creating a space where they feel heard, comfortable, and supported.
Peter’s path to becoming an RMT was deeply personal. A few years ago, he moved to Vancouver from Toronto with a desire to help others and find a meaningful way to give back. After experiencing a shoulder injury himself, he discovered firsthand how transformative massage therapy could be. Massage played an important role in his recovery, helping him move more comfortably and feel more like himself again. This experience opened his eyes to the powerful benefits of massage therapy and ultimately inspired him to make a career change. Today, he is passionate about paying that experience forward by supporting each client on their own health journey toward greater comfort, mobility, and well-being.
He understands that every person and every body is different, which is why he tailors each treatment to the individual's needs and goals. His treatment approach incorporates calming the nervous system as a fundamental way to treat, using Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, joint mobilization, neuromuscular techniques, and trigger point therapy to achieve results. Depending on what each client needs, he uses these techniques to promote relaxation, improve mobility, and help reduce pain and muscular tension.
Creating a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment is an important part of his practice. He believes that helping the body settle and feel safe can play an important role in the recovery process. By combining thoughtful touch, active listening, and individualized treatment, he strives to help clients feel more at ease in their bodies and as close to their normal selves as possible.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys an active approach to self-care through hiking, swimming, and biking. He loves travelling, exploring new places, trying great food, and connecting with people from different walks of life. His curiosity and appreciation for human connection carry into his practice, where he brings empathy, genuine care, and a heartfelt passion for helping others feel better through therapeutic touch.
