About Peishi
Charissa, a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in Burnaby, transitioned from a career in health and IT to pursue her passion for wellness. A graduate of Vancouver Career College, she focuses on pain relief, mobility restoration, and stress reduction, with particular attention to perinatal care. Her areas of expertise includes:
• Perinatal Massage: Supporting expectant and new mothers with pain relief, improved circulation, and relaxation.
• Chronic Pain: Addressing neck, shoulder, and back pain from poor posture or repetitive strain.
• Nerve Compression: Treating carpal tunnel and thoracic outlet syndrome.
• Injury Recovery: Assisting with whiplash, motor vehicle accidents, and TMJ dysfunction.
Charissa uses techniques like Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release, tailored to each client. Fluent in English, and conversational in Mandarin, and Cantonese, she values cultural diversity and enjoys staying active.
