Palwashah is a registered Social Worker working in a health-focused setting with both acute and primary health since completing her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2016. Palwashah has vast experience working with grassroots organizations in the Regina community. She has held various roles working with vulnerable clients with intersecting needs. Her clients include people of all ages, genders, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds. Palwashah’s approach to counselling is holistic and client-centred. She strongly believes that clients are in control of their lives and decision-making and that she is simply there to provide some guidance and encouragement. Palwashah displays sincerity and compassion towards her clients. She values her clients’ input and strongly believes that clients should be in the driver's seat to steer their journeys through various challenges. Palwashah understands that everyone has their own experiences in life, both positive and negative, and that not everyone begins from the same starting point regarding opportunities given. Palwashah helps clients focus on the future and achieve their goals while understanding that their past experiences can impact how they navigate challenges and overcome them. Palwashah has worked with clients in the areas of relationship difficulties, stress, family conflict, addiction, depression, grief, and trauma. Palwashah moved to Canada 26 years ago and now calls Regina home. She is married with three children. Palwashah loves spending time with family and friends, enjoys the outdoors in the summer and enjoys watching soccer. Palwashah is a Registered Social Worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (Registration #4042).
