About Michelle

Michelle has a strong passion for people's physical and mental well-being which is why she has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2005. She has successfully created treatment plans for individuals whose goals were to reduce physical pain or to improve their mental health. Her experience ranges from helping athletes with recovery in order to maximize performance, to collaborating with other regulated healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective treatments, to working at high-end spas giving evidence-based treatments while in an ambience that prioritizes decompression and tranquility. Michelle also had the pleasure of teaching Massage Therapy at a private college, and worked with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario to ensure professionalism within her industry. Michelle is also a Certified Canine Massage Therapist and has added dogs to her client list! An appointment with Michelle would start with a conversation and assessment about your goals prior to your massage. Some of the techniques that may be used during your treatment include deep tissue and trigger point therapy, myofascial release, cupping, table Thai Yoga massage, reflexology, and general Swedish massage techniques. Your comfort level will always be a priority and an open line of communication regarding any changes or modifications to your treatment are always welcome! After your massage, you may receive some suggestions for homecare, or be referred to other members of our highly qualified team to help achieve your goals. On a more personal level, Michelle is extremely family-oriented, an avid IMDB reader, and always looking for a new hobby. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, attending fam-jams, and playing the game "Let's Not Adopt Another Pet" during adoption days at the pet store!
