About Melissa

“I am passionate about the thoughtful integration of counselling and energy healing, honouring the connection between emotional experiences and energetic well-being.” Melissa Kortzman, MSW, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker and Reiki practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field. Her approach is warm, collaborative and integrative, with a particular interest in supporting people navigating change, emotional overwhelm and periods of disconnection from themselves. Melissa believes in each person’s capacity for healing and that there is no one-size-fits-all path to getting there. Her training in counselling, Reiki, meditation and breathwork allows her to draw from talk therapy, nervous-system support, mind-body practices and energy healing to create an approach tailored to each person. Her intention is to create the conditions for people to reconnect with themselves, strengthen self-trust and find greater clarity in what comes next.
