Melanie has always had a passion for healing, support, and caring for others. She began her career in 2011 as a labour and delivery Doula which led her to her career with massage therapy.
Melanie became a bodyworker in 2016 after completing the Spa Therapy Program at the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage. Melanie has enjoyed treating clients at one of Vancouver’s most reputable spas for over 7 years. Motivated to expand her knowledge and expertise, Melanie returned to school in 2021 to pursue her Registered Massage Therapy certification, graduating with honors from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in April 2024.
She can now be found treating clients in her community of Lynn Valley, as a registered massage therapist, at the esteemed Lynn Valley Physiotherapy Clinic. Melanie is passionate about working with clients from all walks of life and has a special interest in pre/postnatal massage therapy.
Melanie is looking forward to working alongside her physiotherapy colleagues to provide patients effective massage therapy with trauma-informed, client-centered care as the cornerstone of her practice.
When not working, Melanie spends time with her family camping, hiking the North Shore trails, playing in the ocean, and exploring all the beautiful nature BC has to offer.
