Megan received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from UBC in 2011. Prior to this, she studied Exercise Science concentrating in Physical Therapy at the University of Akron in Ohio. Complimenting her physiotherapy skill set, Megan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has her Functional Dry Needling/Intramuscular Stimulation (FDN/IMS) certification. She feels that being a life long student is important and takes every opportunity to expand her knowledge as a physiotherapist.
As an athlete herself, and having varying injuries, Megan feels she is able to relate well to her clients. While completing her bachelor’s degree at Akron, she competed in Division I softball. Furthering her softball career, she played on the Canadian National Softball team and professionally in Italy. Megan enjoys all sports; she has also competed recreationally in volleyball, soccer, floor hockey, dance and basketball.
Megan loves spending time with her family; her husband, two daughter’s and dog. She takes every opportunity to be outside whether it’s enjoying the parks with her girls, camping or seeking new outdoor adventures.
Working as a physiotherapist with individuals of all ages and varying injuries is Megan’s passion. She loves to see her clients reach their goals!
