Mark (he/him) is a licensed/registered psychologist in Alberta, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Ontario, who is also able to provide services to residents of Nova Scotia and Quebec remotely.
Mark provides comprehensive, strengths-based, and affirming psychological assessments for children, teenagers, and adults with a variety of mental health, behavioral, attention, learning, and social needs to support them at school, work, and in other areas of their life. He is particularly interested in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and intellectual developmental disorders. He has significant experience working with complex cases, including children/youth who require tertiary and wraparound care. He is particularly passionate about supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community by offering gender-affirming care, including WPATH readiness assessments, collaborative consultation, affirmative counseling, and family education.
In addition, Mark offers therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health concerns, particularly drawing from evidence-based modalities, such as solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and exposure and response prevention. He particularly enjoys working with young people experiencing anxiety and related conditions such as OCD and selective mutism, depression and mood disorders, eating, feeding, and body image concerns, sleep problems, substance use, and emotion dysregulation. He is experienced in and enjoys supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
Mark has worked in various settings, including schools, community mental health clinics, private practice, and non-profit organizations. He also enjoys supervising practicum students and psychometrists. In his personal time, Mark enjoys listening to music, traveling and attending concerts, competing in trivia nights and spending time with friends, family, and his cat, Miles.
