About Lyndsay
Lyndsay has supported adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of counselling roles. She has extensive experience working with individuals who have faced different types of trauma, including those related to motor vehicle accidents, military service, childhood experiences, relationships, and injuries. She also works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem challenges, and anger-related concerns. Her strong background in sports and fitness allows her to connect with athletes and address sports or performance-related challenges that may arise in therapy. Clients can expect Lyndsay to offer compassion, warmth, and a non-judgmental space. “I believe in walking alongside clients and tailoring counselling to fit the needs of the individual.” Her therapeutic toolbox includes EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and other brief therapy models. Lyndsay is also an approved provider for Veterans Affairs Canada and the Non-Insured Health Benefits Program (NIHB).
