About Leah

Leah graduated from the Master’s of Physiotherapy program at McMaster University, following her completion of an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in Kinesiology and Health Promotion in 2022. Her background in ballet, where she danced professionally before beginning her academic journey in the sciences, gives her unique insight into the demands placed on athletes and performers. Leah is currently practicing as a Physiotherapist, where she continues to build on her expertise and clinical skills Leah has a particular interest in working with dancers, post-operative patients, and pelvic floor patients. Her primary focus is helping women feel supported through every stage of life whether it be pregnancy or perimenopause; her goal is to create a supportive space where patients feel empowered and supported to return to things they love with confidence. Her approach to physiotherapy is rooted in a deep passion for movement and recovery. She is committed to using exercise prescription and hands-on techniques tailored to each individual’s needs, aiming to help patients achieve their personal health and rehabilitation goals. Leah believes in the power of movement as a key component of overall well-being and strives to incorporate this philosophy in her care. Outside of her professional life, Leah enjoys an active lifestyle that includes golfing, hiking, and skiing. When not on the move, she appreciates quality time at doing a craft or hanging out with friends.
