About Laura

Laura is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Registered Psychotherapist who supports individuals and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. She works with clients who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them and are ready for meaningful, lasting change. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both evidence-based and experiential therapies. Laura integrates EMDR, Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS), parts work, and mindfulness to help clients move beyond coping and begin addressing the root of their experiences. For couples, Laura uses an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach, drawing from specialized training completed during her graduate studies at Saint Paul University. She supports partners in building emotional safety, improving communication, and strengthening connection. Laura offers a compassionate, attuned space where clients can better understand themselves, feel more grounded, and move toward a more authentic and connected way of living.
