Laura graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Everest College in 2008. In over her 15+ years of practice, she’s worked in multiple settings alongside a variety of practitioners including naturopaths, chiropractors, osteopaths, psychotherapists, and personal trainers. Laura has gained valuable knowledge through both her established healthcare network and her extensive experience allowing a holistic, well rounded perspective to client care and overall wellbeing.
Laura works with her clients to provide a treatment that meets a balance of their immediate and ongoing health goals. Her style involves a slow, rhythmic flow with an adjustable, moderately deep pressure. This approach allows her to bring a combination of therapy and relaxation to each session. Depending on the treatment, Laura utilizes a range of techniques such as General Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilizations, and/or Stretching. She has experience treating headaches, low back pain, desk workers, fitness enthusiasts, frozen shoulder, strains, mobility restrictions, pregnancy, children, post operative breast removal, and more. Laura is a strong advocate of regular self care and a balanced lifestyle, always happy to provide guidance to anyone seeking support on their health and wellness journey.
On a personal level, Laura is a world traveler, low key adventurer and cafe lover. She’s journeyed to 5 continents, traveled solo for a year through Asia and Australia, trekked mountains, kayaked rivers, zip lined through the jungle, and has jumped out of a plane. In her spare time at home, Laura lives a simpler life practicing yoga, journaling at coffee shops, and spending time in nature—small parks included. She has a passion for learning and is frequently reading or studying various subjects. Laura loves experiencing life in big and small ways, always open to what it has to offer and teach.
