Lara is a graduate from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. She is also a graduate from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree and has worked as a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer. While working in the fitness field she was frequently approached by clients with complex questions about functional anatomy and health related concerns. This, along with her ongoing curiosity of the human body, health, and wellness, spurred her on to pursuing the answers to these questions and after being intrigued by her own experience in receiving osteopathic care she began her education in osteopathy. No matter the reason for your appointment, from body pain to illness and discomfort, Lara will search for health by focusing on the structure and function of your body. Using classical osteopathic principles to assess and treat your body, both symmetry and motion of your joints will be restored while removing obstructions to healthy nerve, blood, and lymphatic flow. All body systems will be considered during treatment in order for you to obtain optimal health with optimal motion.
