About Kelly
Kelly is a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) 2200 hour program. During her time at WCCMT she gained extensive experience working in the student clinic treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Prior to massage therapy, Kelly received her bachelors degree in Kinesiology and worked as a Kinesiologist implementing exercise programs for patients. Kelly has also been very active in the athletic community having worked with Simon Fraser University Men’s Hockey, Langley Thunder Sr. A Lacrosse, Scotland Lacrosse & Rugby 7's international teams.
Kelly strives to individualize treatment plans to help patients achieve their specific treatment goals and to get them back to doing the things they love. She believes that a combination of massage therapy and a good home care program can help improve the patients condition and also allow the patient to be actively involved in their healing process. Kelly is proficient in performing deep tissue massage and incorporates many different techniques into treatment some of which include trigger point therapy, active and passive stretching, myofascial release, & joint mobilizations. Kelly also performs table-based assisted stretching which takes a global approach to the body & movement and helps improve flexibility, mobility, strength, performance, and reduce pain.
