About Kae

Kae is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Before moving to Toronto, she spent over 10 years practicing as a physiotherapist in Japan, working in hospital and home-care settings across the full spectrum of care—from hyper-acute rehabilitation to long-term and community-based treatment. Through this work, Kae gained extensive clinical experience supporting people with a wide range of conditions, including orthopaedic injuries, pre- and post-operative recovery, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, cancer care, and complex medical presentations. This background strongly informs her thoughtful, safety-focused approach as an RMT. Kae’s massage therapy treatments blend therapeutic and relaxation-based techniques, always tailored to the individual. Depending on a client’s needs and goals, her work may include focused therapeutic massage, jaw/TMJ-informed treatment, and cupping therapy when clinically appropriate and discussed in advance. Her aim is to reduce pain, restore movement, and support both physical and emotional well-being in a way that feels collaborative and grounded. A lifelong learner with a strong curiosity for the human body, Kae is continually expanding her clinical skills and knowledge. She also holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences, which adds depth to her clinical reasoning and a strong evidence-informed foundation to her care.
