About Immanuel
Immanuel completed his Master of Physical Therapy at York St. John University in York, England. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Honors Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.
His passion for physiotherapy began while working as a Physiotherapy Assistant, where he saw firsthand how helping patients regain confidence in movement positively impacts both their physical recovery and overall well being.
This experience inspired him to pursue physiotherapy and has since led him to work with a wide range of populations, including professional sports teams such as York City Football Club and the Brampton Honey Badgers, as well as hospital and community settings with patients recovering from surgery, neurological conditions, and chronic pain.
Drawing on his background in biomechanics research, Immanuel incorporates manual therapy, joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercise, and education to support functional recovery for both athletic and general populations. He is excited to work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan so that you can return to your activities and enjoy them with confidence.
Outside of the clinic, Immanuel enjoys playing basketball, going to the gym, running, and trying new coffee shops in the area.
