Release stress and trauma through awareness and gentle therapeutic touch. Now offering Barnes Myofascial Release and the Spinal Flow Technique. A graduate of the Algonquin College’s Massage Therapy program (2013), Helene has branched off from the traditional deep tissue approach to massage therapy and now focuses on education, rehabilitation and restoring her clients overall alignment for optimal health and wellness. Her unique and innovative approach to massage therapy has been shaped by her journey - starting as a former performer with Disney on Ice while offering massage therapy to her fellow cast-mates. She's practised in London, England and offered skill, and professional development to other massage therapists, as Massage Therapy is unregulated in the UK, and visited India to study yoga, meditation, and breath work. Since being back in Canada, Helene has continued her studies, completing courses with John Upledger's Craniosacreal Therapy, John Barnes Myofascial Release, has become a Spinal Flow practitioner, continued courses with Reiki, TMJ, and is a certifided BodyMind Coach. Helene is also a founding member of the Ottawa Spinal Flow Collaborative, a group of Spinal Flow Practitioners working together to further awareness and access to Spinal Flow care in the Ottawa area. Outside of the office, Helene is a volunteer with Hospice Care Ottawa, enjoys music and likes getting outside to enjoy seasonal activities. No allergies or sensitivities.
