About Gillian

Gillian has a Bachelor of Arts, Honours degree from the University of Guelph, an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Georgian College, and has been a registered massage therapist since 2016. She has worked in spa and clinical settings, and since 2023 has enjoyed building her career with her wonderful colleagues and clients at Horseshoe Wellness. Gillian is proficient in Swedish massage, fascial work, and hydrotherapy, and has taken further education in hot stone, cupping, and pelvic health therapies. Her treatment style is slow and intentional, with a focus on trigger points and a holistic approach to improve clients’ pain, range of motion, and general sense of wellbeing. The client is the centre focus of every treatment plan, and takes a collaborative role in their treatment with continuous communication and home care activities. When she is not working, Gillian enjoys life as an Oro-Medonte resident, spending lots of time outdoors with her husband, two young children, dog Snoopy, and cat Basil. And when she’s able, Gillian makes time to bake, read, crochet, and sing.
