Hi! I'm Emma, a Registered Psychotherapist with a unique background in perinatal health. Having previously worked as a Registered Midwife and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I bring a deep understanding of the journey to parenthood. As a mother myself, I empathize with the joys and challenges of this transformative experience. My approach blends therapeutic expertise with firsthand knowledge, creating a nurturing space for individuals to explore their perinatal journey. I aim to help you navigate this incredible chapter of life together, with compassion, support, and understanding.
My educational background includes the following university degrees:
Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies
I received certification as a Perinatal Mental Health Professional through Postpartum Support International in 2021.
I am a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
