Emile was born and raised in Saskatoon. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2009 and a Master’s in physical therapy in 2011. Emile is a lifelong learner and continues to develop his skillset, mindset and toolbox with every year of practice. He has taken post graduate education in orthopedic manual therapy, myofascial treatment, pain education, neurodynamics, biomedical dry needling and Gunn IMS.
He recognizes that every individual is unique and caters his plan and treatment approach to best serve their needs, comfort levels and mutual goals.
He is new to Summit Sports and Health starting in January of 2026, and is excited to work with the established multidisciplinary team recognizing that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Throughout his career, he has always worked in private practice and has many years of experience working with patients, helping to manage both acute and persistent issues. From professional athletes, to those that struggle getting out of a chair, Emile enjoys working with a variety of different needs and abilities.
Emile was a competitive athlete in his youth and continues to enjoy being active year-round, both in the gym and outside. He enjoys putzing in his gardens, keeping busy with projects, cooking and eating good food as well as spending time with his young family.
