About Vanessa

Dr. Vanessa Pilot was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, where she developed a passion for movement through competitive dance. At just 8 years old, she sustained a low back injury that required surgery and extensive rehabilitation. That experience introduced her to conservative care and inspired her to pursue a career helping others recover from injury and return to the activities they love. Dr. Vanessa earned her Bachelor of Science with an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology from Western University. During her undergraduate studies, she also served as a student athletic trainer for the varsity men's and women's soccer teams. She went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honours. During her time at CMCC, Dr. Vanessa developed wellness programming aimed at promoting mental health and fostering a culture of overall well-being within the student community. Dr. Vanessa takes an evidence-informed, patient-centered approach to care. She believes in understanding each individual's goals, lifestyle, and unique needs to develop personalized treatment plans that help reduce pain, restore function, increase strength, and support long-term health and performance.
