About Valerie

Valerie is a Doctor of Acupuncture and a Practitioner of Chinese Medicine, and a Registered Acupuncturist. She also holds a degree in Genetics with a focus in molecular genetics. Valerie treats a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions with various styles of acupuncture, including Japanese Meridian Acupuncture, as well as herbal medicine, food and nutritional therapy, and other treatment modalities. Her integrative approach blends the ancient wisdom of east Asian medicine with the latest evidence-based research on epigenetics and systems biology. Treatments are individually tailored to help restore balance and to support the body’s innate abilities to heal itself. Valerie's focus is on addressing the root causes of illness. Because of this, she has experience working with many different conditions and in a variety of areas of health, including: stress management, trauma, inflammatory conditions, concussion, digestive health, immune system issues, men health, mental health, pain management, wellness support, and women’s health.
