About Sharon

Dr. Sharon Shacham Dupont holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Rhode Island and a Doctorate in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Dr. Shacham Dupont specializes in relationship counseling for both individuals and couples, as well as in treating anxiety, depression, and sexual trauma. In her practice, Dr. Shacham Dupont employs a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients develop more positive thought patterns. She also incorporates the Psychodynamic approach, mainly focusing on how attachment styles influence information processing and interpersonal relationships. Having lived in Israel, France, the United States, England, and Canada, Dr. Shacham Dupont brings a rich understanding of cultural diversity and its impact on individuals. She is fluent in English, French, and Hebrew. Her global experiences have deepened her awareness of cultural differences and their unique challenges. Dr. Shacham Dupont is a mother of four and enjoys spending time with her family and dog. In her leisure time, she loves exercising and reading. She is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where clients can freely express their feelings and work towards personal growth. She is committed to creating a space where everyone feels heard and respected.
