Dr. Priya Johal was born and raised in Victoria, BC, where her passion for sports and helping others stay active began. A former Island All-Star basketball player and varsity softball athlete at the University of Victoria, she competed in multiple national championships and represented Team Canada at the Little League World Series. She continues to coach softball whenever she can.
Dr. Priya earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto.
She is passionate about providing evidence-based, patient-centred care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with special interests in sports rehabilitation, women’s health, and pediatrics. Her treatment approach includes spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy, Graston® Technique, integrated needling acupuncture, kinesiology taping, rehabilitation exercises, and patient education.
Dr. Priya believes in individualized care and enjoys helping patients return to the activities they love—whether that’s sport, exercise, or everyday life with less pain.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys going to the gym, running, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new restaurants and cafés
