My path into medicine was not a conventional one. I was initially preparing for law school in Ottawa when my health began to decline. I was diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease and spent extended periods in hospital undergoing treatment and recovering from surgeries. Years later, I worked with a naturopathic doctor who played a pivotal role in my recovery. I have been in remission since. That experience reshaped my direction and led me to pursue naturopathic medicine so I could support others facing complex, often overlooked health challenges. Living with a chronic illness has given me a level of clinical insight that extends beyond textbooks. I understand the frustration of persistent symptoms, the uncertainty, and the impact it has on daily life. My approach is focused, structured, and individualized. I prioritize identifying key drivers of your symptoms and creating a clear, actionable plan so you can begin to notice meaningful changes early on, while also building toward long-term, sustainable health. Patients often appreciate having a clear plan and knowing exactly what steps to take next. I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and have continued advanced training in nutrition, injectable vitamin therapy, digestive health, autoimmunity, and pain management. In addition to clinical practice, I am a former part-time faculty member at the École d’Enseignement Supérieur de Naturopathie du Québec in Montreal, where I taught basic sciences, autoimmune conditions, emergency medicine, nutrition, and clinical practice. I have also served as co-chair of the membership committee for the Gastroenterology Association for Naturopathic Physicians. I offer care in English, French, and Arabic.
