About Misa

Dr. Kawasaki is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor, speaker, educator, movement coach, business owner, and nutrition advocate. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in her home town at the University of Waterloo and her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Kawasaki has been integrating clinical nutrition, functional movement and hormone restoration in her practice for over 20 years. She is the co-owner of Meridian Spine + Sport in Richmond Hill, Ontario. In addition to her clinic, in 2004-2013, she was the on-site Naturopathic Doctor for over 1500 employees at the Canadian Tire Corporation in Toronto where she fostered a positive work-life balance. She has also been invited to many corporate and school board workshops to speak on her favourite topics: macro-based eating and intermittent fasting. Whether it's digestive problems, weight gain, hormone imbalances, eczema, food sensitivities, migraines, or insomnia, Dr. Kawasaki is thorough in researching her patients' cases, collaborating with other doctors when necessary, and performing diagnostic tests in order to determine the underlying causes of their health issues.
