About Maryam

I’m Dr. Maryam, a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine with over two decades of experience helping people improve their health and well-being. I specialize in fertility and women’s health, supporting women through every phase of their reproductive health, from conception and pregnancy to postpartum care. I was also one of the first practitioners in the Greater Vancouver area to be trained in Cosmetic Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation. I love seeing the transformative results this treatment provides my patients. Over the years, I’ve successfully treated a wide range of conditions, including stress and anxiety, perimenopause, PMS, irregular menstrual cycles, endometriosis, PCOS, fertility, morning sickness, insufficient lactation, postpartum depression, acne, eczema, digestive issues, and pain management. I tailor every treatment to each patient, combining ancient Chinese medical wisdom with modern insights to provide effective and compassionate care. I completed my training at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver and deepened my expertise through hands-on learning in medical hospitals in China. Before pursuing Chinese medicine, I studied General Sciences at the University of British Columbia (UBC), which laid a strong foundation for my practice. In addition to seeing patients in person and online, I’ve developed pre-recorded self-treatment programs focusing on immunity, fertility for men and women, IVF support, and skin health. These programs are designed to empower individuals with tools to improve their health from the comfort of their homes. I strive to create a soothing, welcoming environment where my patients feel heard, understood and cared for. With a gentle touch and a welcoming smile, I aim to provide a space where healing can truly take place.
