About Maathavan

Dr. Maathavan Thillai received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto after graduating with honours from the University of Toronto. Dr. Thillai is an advocate for interdisciplinary health care and uses evidence-based practices in managing his patient’s treatment plan which may include soft tissue therapy, exercise rehab, adjustments, shockwave therapy and laser therapy. Dr. Thillai works in conjunction with the treating clinicians and therapists to provide their patients with orthopaedic product assessment and education to aid in optimizing patient health and to facilitate normal movement and function of the body’s muscles and joints. In order to broaden his lower extremity (hip, knee, ankle & foot) assessment, diagnosis and treatment skills, Dr. Thillai has also completed his Certified Pedorthic Technician designation (C Ped. Tech) dealing with lower limb care including custom orthotics, knee and ankle bracing and compression socks.
