About Heather

Dr. Heather Jones is an Associate Chiropractor with Kemptville Health Hub. Dr. Jones received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Chicago (2008). She received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo (2004), a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from NUHS (2006) and a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Practice from NUHS (2009). Dr. Jones uses a combination of manual and tool assisted soft tissue therapies, spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization, acupuncture, custom orthotics and rehabilitation exercises. Dr. Jones is a certified KinesioTaping practitioner. She completed additional training in the fields of chiropractic pediatrics and prenatal care and certified in Webster technique in 2015. Dr. Jones became interested in sports rehabilitation after experiencing several injuries as a competitive soccer player in high school. At the University of Waterloo, she completed co-op placements in both a physiotherapy clinic and a chiropractic clinic and felt chiropractic was the best fit for her. She has gone on to take additional courses in functional rehabilitation.
