Dr. Elana Silverman is a distinguished chiropractor with over twenty years of experience in providing expert care and wellness solutions. Her educational journey began with a diploma in education and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which provided her with a strong foundation in understanding holistic health. She then achieved her doctorate in 2004 from the prestigious Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Throughout her career, Dr. Silverman has developed a deep expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, serving a diverse patient population that intriguingly includes animals. This unique experience has enriched her understanding of functional anatomy across species, enhancing her ability to diagnose and treat complex cases.
Dr. Silverman is renowned for her specialized work with pre/postnatal and pediatric patients, a passion that has guided much of her professional development and practice. She employs a variety of techniques to ensure the most effective treatment outcomes, including the Thompson Technique, Diversified Technique, Cupping, Activator Technique, and drop-piece adjusting. Her proficiency in these methods is complemented by her certifications in Webster Technique, which is particularly beneficial for pregnant patients, highlighting her commitment to supportive prenatal and postnatal care.
In addition to her chiropractic qualifications, Dr. Silverman is also a Registered Massage Therapist and a Craniosacral Therapist. These certifications allow her to offer a broader spectrum of integrated therapeutic interventions, addressing patient needs from multiple angles to facilitate holistic healing and well-being.
