DR. AMANDA PERIZZOLO – ACUPUNCTURE, TCM -
Amanda is a born and raised Calgarian who after studying psychology for 4 years decided to go back to school for Traditional Chinese Medicine. After completing her doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture she decided to take her education one step further by completing her Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification in San Diego, California.
Amanda is currently one of eleven practitioners in Canada who has a Sports Medicine Acupuncture (SMAC) certification in California.
She uses postural assessments, gait analysis, orthopedic testing and functional muscle tests in her practice. This gives a more thorough diagnosis and helps to determine a better treatment plan which can help assist in a faster recovery, prevent future injuries and enhance athletic performance.
