About Donna
Hello, I'm Donna Stodolka, an experienced educator and school counsellor with over three decades of teaching and five years of dedicated school counselling experience. I'm deeply committed to helping children of all ages navigate life's challenges. Now, I'm embarking on a journey into private counselling, where I can invest the time and energy needed to address the significant issues our young people face today.
My training encompasses supporting children and youth in their experience of childhood trauma, anxiety, grief, and divorce. I also offer collaborative problem-solving strategies for parents. I integrate diverse counselling approaches such as Sandtray Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing techniques into our sessions.
