Hi! I'm Deanna. I have been walking this healing arts path for a very long time. I am passionate about helping others find comfort and joy in their lives. I have been a Registered Nurse for 20 years, and continue to work for Community Health on a casual basis. I am a Certified Hakomi Counselling Therapist and offer my services part-time at the Sunshine Coast Health Centre/Georgia Straight Women's Clinic. Bringing mind and body together in mindfulness has such a profound effect! I offer Thai Yoga Massage and bring with me in-depth training and knowledge in Noad Bo-Ram (Northern Style) technique. This massage is over 2000 years old and seriously is next level! I am a Reiki Practitioner of 25 years, and a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT). I do a lot things and love them all. In reality they all complement each other. We are interconnected beings: body, mind and spirit. It is impossible to work in just one realm without affecting the others. Likewise, 'dis-ease' is not limited to just one facet of our being. I am honoured to offer my services in Powell River, where I have raised my child, and cared for others and their families over the past 20 years. This community feels like family to me.
