About David
David graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Active Rehabilitation, before completing his Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in Australia. His training across both kinesiology and physiotherapy has shaped a practice that is grounded in movement, guided by evidence, and centred on each individual client.
David speaks fluent Mandarin and has experience working one-on-one with ICBC clients, post-surgical populations, and individuals navigating a wide range of conditions including motor vehicle accident injuries, joint and muscle strains, post-operative recovery, and neurological conditions. He's a firm believer that the right exercise, done well and progressed thoughtfully, is one of the most powerful tools in rehabilitation. His approach is collaborative: he works to understand the root cause of each client's condition, then builds individualized programs that help them rebuild strength, confidence, and independence.
Before heading to physiotherapy school, David worked as both a kinesiologist and a personal trainer, with a strong focus on strength and conditioning. That foundation — building capacity through movement and tailoring programs to whoever walked through the door — continues to shape how he coaches clients today.
Outside the clinic, David enjoys tennis, running, getting out into the BC outdoors, and regular trips to the gym. When he's not moving, he's usually working through his Spanish or hunting down a good spot to read on a sunny beach day. He looks forward to helping you get back to doing what you love.
