I’m Danya, and I am fortunate to have found myself here as part of a mid-life awakening following years of living a life on everyone else’s terms. But even so, I have had a rich journey to include a first career as a musician and teacher, a second career in the Canadian Armed Forces, and now a third career transitioning to Social Work. I have experienced war trauma, divorce, the challenges of parenthood, addiction and sobriety, and am now living a life that makes me excited to wake up each morning, thanks to knowing when to ask for help. Now is the season to give back and I hope to be one of the first steps towards help on your own journey.
