Codee Koch is a Registered Massage Therapist based in Vernon, BC. Her approach to massage therapy is grounded in compassion and empathy, ensuring each session is thoughtfully tailored to meet her client’s unique needs. She incorporates techniques such as neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage, muscle energy, myofascial work, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support a wide range of wellness goals.
Codee earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UBCO and later gained experience in the veterinary field before moving into a teaching role, where she instructed future Veterinary Hospital Assistants. These roles strengthened her ability to listen, adapt, and give care with patience and attention to detail. She now also serves as a clinic supervisor at OVCMT, where she supports massage therapy students in their practical development.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors through gardening, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and swimming.
Massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
