About Celena

There’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing someone feel and move better. I love hearing how that carries into their daily life. Whether that’s waking up with less tension, getting through a workday more comfortably, or moving without constantly thinking about pain. After working through chronic elbow pain that once made me question becoming a massage therapist, I became fascinated by approaches that don’t rely on force, but instead work with the body. That experience changed the way I understand pain and recovery. Where you feel pain isn’t always where it starts, and the nervous system plays an important role in how the body experiences and responds to discomfort. I believe more force doesn’t necessarily create more change. My approach is less about forcing the body and more about creating the conditions for it to respond. My treatments are calm, focused, and collaborative, with an emphasis on helping the nervous system settle while taking a whole-body approach rather than simply chasing the area that hurts. As a dedicated Milton RMT, I have a particular interest in chronic pain, stress-related tension, neck and shoulder pain, and headaches. I combine General Swedish Massage, myofascial release, cupping, and Dolphin NeuroStim, adapting each treatment to what your body responds to best. My goal is to help you feel more comfortable, connected, and at ease in your body. I graduated from the Ontario College of Health and Technology’s Massage Therapy diploma program in 2021. My background as a competitive gymnast, soccer player, and track and field athlete shaped my appreciation for movement, injury recovery, and the connection between the body and nervous system. Outside of the clinic, you’ll find me hiking with my Irish Setter, Jasper, backcountry camping, diving into anything related to the subconscious mind, or cooking for the people I love.
