About Brooke

Prior to attending the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, I earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. My passion for movement and exploring the body's physical limits through dance and acrobatics inspired a deep curiosity about the human body that led me to pursue a degree in Kinesiology. During this time, I had the opportunity to assist in exercise programs for older adults in convalescent care and individuals living with spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis. It was a joy to witness the improvement in the quality of life experienced by clients as they regained strength, mobility, and a sense of empowerment in their bodies. At this time, I began to understand the powerful connection between physical and mental wellness. I wanted to deepen my understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the interrelation between the two and use this knowledge to help people improve functionality, alleviate pain, and get back to doing the things they love. I was drawn to osteopathy as an optimistic form of healthcare that emphasizes the body's intrinsic ability to self-heal and maintain health. I am committed to creating a safe environment where clients feel respected, valued, and truly listened to, with treatments that are tailored to individual needs.
