About Barbara

Barbara graduated from Sutherland-Chan in 2009 and became a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTO. She has mostly worked in the rehabilitation sector (Injuries/pre-post surgeries/Motor Vehicle Accidents); working alongside chiropractors and physiotherapists and other health care practitioners. During her studies at Sutherland- Chan, she rounded her knowledge for myofascial release, scar tissue alignment, sports massage and spinal cord recovery treatments. After graduation, she also expanded into courses for Muscle Energy Techniques, which she still uses often for low back/Sl pain and dysfunctional issues. Each treatment is personalized specifically to your goals and needs, which focuses on your overall health and well-being. Paying close attention to your unique conditions and needs; from chronic pain, rehabilitation or relaxation allowing you to listen to your body. She is here to help you stay active and increase your mobility for your daily activities. Outside of clinic work, she enjoys gardening, camping and the great outdoors.
