About Avi

Avi is a Registered Dietitian with over six years of clinical experience across Ontario, Manitoba, and British Columbia. Her interest in nutrition began with a curiosity about how food supports the body and has since evolved into a deeper understanding of its impact on energy, mood, and overall health. Through her work, she has seen how often generic plans and trending diets fall short, shaping her focus on individualized, realistic care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences and completed her dietetic internship with the University of Manitoba. Originally from Winnipeg, Avi recently relocated to Alberta with her husband after the two met while living in Vancouver. Avi takes a collaborative, whole-person approach to care, considering each client’s health history, lifestyle, and goals. She works alongside clients to develop practical, sustainable strategies rooted in small, consistent changes. Her philosophy centers on balance and flexibility, helping individuals build a positive relationship with food, enjoy what they eat, and move toward long-term success without restriction. Her areas of focus include chronic disease prevention and management (including cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar), weight management, and personalized meal planning. She also has a special interest in women’s health, hormone support, GLP-1 care, and culturally inclusive nutrition, including South Asian dietary patterns. Outside of work, Avi enjoys a good sweat from spin classes, recharging with some quiet alone time, and spending time with friends and family over great food and drinks! Always aiming for balance, not perfection.
