About Ashley
Ashley Shenk is an experienced Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), dedicated to providing her patients with effective treatments tailored to their unique needs. She has lived in BC her whole life, briefly moving to Prince George to complete a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then moving to Vernon for her certification in Massage Therapy. She then moved back to Vanderhoof to plant her roots and start her practice.
She believes high level care is achieved through giving personal attention to her patients. She encourages patients to play a vital role in healing their health issues by doing regular exercise and maintaining a balanced diet. She exemplifies this belief through a variety of activities herself, such as biking for transportation, running, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and the ever-dreaded…stretching.
In addition to helping people achieve their healing and wellness goals, Ashley enjoys playing a part within other areas of the community. For three years, she has performed with the Vanderhoof Community Theatre Society and is looking forward to many more productions in the future. She also coaches cross country skiing and helps with the Mewsings Society for stray cats. Recently, she joined Vanderhoof’s Kin Club, where she has been able to help a wider range of individuals in the community through events such as Vanderhoof’s Toy Ride and the Santa’s Anonymous.
