Hi, I'm Ariette. I'm an Emotion-Focussed therapist, creative, and an adult child of East-Asian immigrants. I am passionate about integrating my lived experience to work with young professionals, women, and youth that identify as adult children of immigrants or are of East-Asian descent. I believe your unique story, voice, and healing matters, and I want to help you reclaim your narrative and personal power. I integrate my cultural empathy and compassion into my sessions, creating a safe space for you to unpack and explore your felt experiences. As a therapist, I am collaborative, directive and client-centred, here to guide you to unpack your past and understand how you are in the present when it comes to navigating chronic stress, attachment issues, anxiety and life transitions. I consider your whole self - your personality, history, values, lifestyle - in therapy together, and want to empower you to enact positive changes, while providing the resources and support to do so. In addition, with your consent, I am also able to provide my clients with personal development, couples counselling and Christian counselling.
