About Alisha

Life can look full on the outside, yet still feel overwhelming on the inside. Anxiety, self-doubt, or the feeling of never quite being enough can linger, even when there’s no obvious reason why. Days may be filled with responsibilities, relationships, and showing up for the people around you. Behind the scenes, there may be constant overthinking, pressure to meet expectations, and the exhaustion that comes from carrying more than others realize. As a Jewish therapist, I understand how culture, family, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we understand ourselves and move through the world. I also recognize how intergenerational experiences, family histories, and the expectations passed down through generations can influence our relationships, our sense of responsibility, and the ways we navigate life. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where each person feels genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck in anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or self-doubt. We’ll look at how your experiences, relationships, and family systems have shaped you, while building practical tools to help you develop greater self-trust, set boundaries without guilt, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are. Therapy can be a space to better understand your story, honour where you come from, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and compassion.
