“I have been seeing Cheryl for over a year and I noticeably have improvement in my dry eye and eye pain during that time. Her consultations are in depth and she spends time looking at your entire lifestyle and habits. She is the type of doctor we all need. She will personalize the treatment to exactly what you’re going through and make recommendations. This isn’t an in and out type of doctor. She wants you to get better and will read on her own time more about anything further that can be done for your condition. Her herbs and supplements are carefully chosen by suppliers that align with her values and she procures them from around the world. I have been to many acupuncturist around the world, even in Asia, and none of the training that Cheryl does for eyes. I highly recommend her and enjoy the time I spend with her. She is worth the long drive I take to see her weekly!”Read moreShow less

“I’ve been seeing Cheryl every 3 months for about 7 years for late stage RP to try to preserve my remaining central vision. Through her acupuncture treatments and herbs, my macular edema (side effect of RP) is now completely gone and my vision has remained stable. She specializes in the eyes but treats the whole body. She also strives to continually learn and improve her skills. Highly recommended for all eye conditions.”Read moreShow less

“Highly recommended for addressing anything related to eye health. I was diagnosed with Glaucoma in 2020, started using xalatan eye drops daily to reduce my eye pressures (28 left eye, 21 right eye). Found this place from a quick google search. I saw Cheryl almost weekly initially for two years to aggressively treat my new onset, then down to twice a month as I stabilized, and currently (2024) still see her about once a month for maintenance. I've also been off the eye drops for a couple years now and my pressures have been holding steady at around 18mmHg both eyes, even my ophthalmologist is surprised I'm doing so well without the drops! Never liked needles so this was a first time acupuncture thing for me, but I think it's a good tradeoff from the constant dry eyes and side effects of xalatan. Cheryl is knowledgeable about acupuncture in general, and specializes in treating a spectrum of eye diseases like macular degeneration, glaucoma, RP, etc. She's shown me exercises and techniques, and natural remedies that I perform/take at home during times of (eye) stress. I can't thank Cheryl enough for helping me regain confidence in my vision, and teaching me valuable tips to preserve my eye health as I age.”Read moreShow less
