“awful experience. I called ahead and arrived in person, twice did I ask if paying by wayspa gift card is ok and going in for rmt appointment. They said yes Asked if receipt will be issued, yes. I asked the rmt in the room, what price. She said 120. I asked flat? She said yes, taxes included. The price came to 124 after tax. I asked her Amy Tao Deng bout the discrepancy, she said its 115 plus tax which still doesnt make sense. She did not own up to her miscommunication or mistake. Not a big deal. After the service, they (4 staff members) made it difficul to claim the gift card. I had to insist I asked prior, regarding the giftcard. Finally they allowed it even though apparently it was against their apparent practise. I asked to speak with manager. Unavailable. I had to ask for callback. No call back. Awful experience, awful communication, no customer service. Amy Tao Deng is not honest, accountable, and her technique is rough like you're a piece of meat. There are better places in service and execution.”

“Got my hair cut by Rania on Thursday and I can’t say how much I recommend her! I asked her to cut my hair to make it look healthy again (it was really long and unhealthy looking) and she made it look and feel so good! I will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!”

“I learned if the Uptown Spa during COVID when I was looking for a particularly clean place to get my nails done, and I wasn’t disappointed! I have since continued to go for laser hair removal, electrolysis and waxing in addition to nails. The atmosphere of the spa is lovely - quiet, and soothing, elegant yet comfortable. The reception staff are always warm and helpful. Natasha is my go to for laser - she is a lovely, person and is thorough, I have had excellent results!!”

“Got my hair colored at the Salon (first time at the Salon btw) and I had a phenomenal experience. Mary was very professional, kind and friendly. She was careful with my hair and made good recommendations on how to maintain a great hair quality and appearance. Be sure to book an appointment with her if you need one. The receptionists on the other hand, gave off a somewhat nonchalant and weird vibe but Mary's hospitality made up for all of that so a 5 star it is.”

“I love the excellent massage therapy with Amy, as well as pedicures with Nicky. Both of these ladies are highly skilled and professional. I've missed these services terribly during this pandemic, and am looking forward to appointments resuming in the near future. -- Follow-up: It's been a year since my last massage, and I'm definitely feeling the pain. I'm missing Amy's healing hands and hope she'll be back soon. I also miss Nicky, who always made my feet look and feel wonderful. Can't wait to hear when you guys are back. Thank you!”
