“The university has a strong academic reputation, especially in engineering, computer science, and co-op education. One of the standout features is the co-op program, which gives students real industry experience alongside their studies, making learning feel very practical and career-focused. The campus itself is modern and well-equipped, with plenty of study spaces, labs, and student facilities. There’s also a vibrant student life, with lots of clubs and activities that make it easy to get involved outside of academics. “I came to the field as I have for years as my teen plays football and my adult son attends the school. I refused a stranger to go through my bag as noone ever has in past 3 security come up embarrassed myself. They claimed they do to all but I watched 3 ppl walkin in with 5 mins of me having to show my pop to them. When the 3 people walked in security didn't approach nor ask them to look in their large bags. To be treated so disrespectfully and invasion of personal space is disgusting. Meanwhile you have the coach of Essex team screaming across the feild swearing infront of children and telling kids to punch other kids in the mouth . “Took my daughter there for the University open house and the tour host was a lovely young lady Cailyn... very impressive grounds and school proved to me they had the foresight to think about a lot of the needs of the students and more so was the fact that during our tour our host the young lady aforementioned proved quite knowledgeable and well-presented if she's an indication of the caliber of the students produced by this institution I rest assured then my child will be in capable hands with the faculty and this school.”Read moreShow less

“Love and hate with this place. Lots of memories there. Can’t go wrong with this university, one of the best universities in Canada or the world. Lots of efforts to spend there but certainly will lead you to success. You need to stay strong. Took me a while to look for my graduation composite as they have moved mine from DWE to the new engineering building E6. Many nice bridges connecting the buildings.
