“"We don't know how much we can thank you and appreciate all the staff at The Summit Quadra for taking such good care of our sweet mother, Alice Riddle. Our mom has dementia, and our dear father cared for her until he thought it was the right time for her to be here. Not long after, he passed away peacefully. 💐 The place is very clean and well-organized. We visit mom twice a week, and our sister visits on other days. We feel like mom has a big family here, and it's great to see how the staff care for residents with different levels of dementia. This is a safe and good place for your loved ones. We're especially thankful for Mark the staff member who looks after my mom afternoon shift he's done an excellent job, and we're so appreciative of his care. Eden, Nikki, Hazel and everyone else there is wonderful too. God bless everyone, and we love visiting mom and everyone at The Summit Quadra. The reception there ‘ Bethany ‘ also wonderful sweet and very helpful welcome for everyone and care to all residents there 😊”

“My beloved wasband was there for approximately 4 years. He had advanced stages of dementia, and I visited him regularly, and was apparently the only one doing so. When I called a couple of days ago to ask how many people I should plan for when ordering my annual birthday cake for Richard, which would have been on September 24th, the person answering the telephone simply said, oh, he died. No preamble. No asking who I was, and how close I was to him. I was stunned at the total lack of humanity and basic etiquette when sharing of someone's passing. I had begged one of the staff who I saw frequently, her name is Vaseline, to inform me immediately by telephone when he passed, -- because I didn't think that his son and daughter from first marriage would bother to inform me. .Why on Earth she didn't do that will forever be a mystery to me, and a total betrayal, because I really really liked Vaseline. I had a funny premonition some months ago, and retrieved a beautiful wedding photo that I had put into Richard's room. If I had not done so, I have no doubt this beautiful framed image would have just been thrown in the garbage. I thought that Richard himself was thrown into the garbage, metaphorically speaking. I am beyond disappointed in how this was handled by the Summit. Perhaps someone who reads this, could approach me. I would like an apology. I would have very much liked a chance to see goodbye to his body, and this chance was stolen from me, by this negligence by Summit staff, and I am furious about that”

“My husband stayed at The Summit from December 2022 to February 16,2025 when he passed away. Robert was taken care of to the highest standards we all expect. Every person working from when I stepped into the facility was very respectful, kind and most of all caring. He was at the Iris House and every staff member,Team leaders, Nurses, Health Care Workers who were responsible for him were compassionate. Dr Vaughan took care of Robert to the best of his abilities. Going Above and beyond when needed. At the end Dr Vaughan and all Iris House Team helped myself and my daughters and supported us with love and care. I couldn't imagine going on this difficult Journey of my life without the Summit. If you want respect for your loved one during a illness the Summit is All you need.”

“The Summit AT Quadra Village is quite a nice place my husband lives there and so does my dad the way they have the place set up is quite unique the older people up above in the 4th and 3rd and 4th levels and the younger ones down below it's quite cool”

“I dunno how many families actually have a choice to have their loved one placed in the Summit, but should your loved one be placed there, rest assured they'll be fine. Sure it's a large hospital-like institution, but it's offset by being modern and having the best equipment to deal with the complex needs of their charges. Because it's a hospital-like institution, the food is what one might expect however, it exceeds nutritional needs. Despite its modernity, it is subject to the staffing problems that caring for a complex population brings. That said, the vast majority of the staff are professional, personable and most importantly, caring.”

“This is my pops retirement home. He's quite happy there. It's a fairly new building the staff are so friendly and look after his needs,they have activities all week to keep them busy..pops even won a bowling championship trophy. The place seems quiet and he has his own room. He can choose to have his meals in his room or the dining room. Each floor has 2 separate houses pops is in Robin house which holds maybe as a guess 30 residents. I've recommended this place to several of my friends for their aging loved ones.”
