We booked this place as a rest stop on our way to Winnipeg. I'm always looking for good value and it was a bit cheaper than staying in Yorkton, I had never been here. Check in went smoothly. However, as we went into the room we were greeted with a musty smell and then a sewage odor from the bathroom. The place was clean but not pleasant due to odors. The person doing the check out didn't ask, "So how was your stay?" - just processed us out. Perhaps she didn't really want to know. Rather than the $150 I would say the place is worth $100 at best. We'll stay in Yorkton next time or take the south route on the #1 next time.

From Mrs. C. Lee: Cynthia at the front desk was OUTSTANDING in her customer service! There was an issue with our original suite but even though there was no room at the Inn, she managed to find us another (satisfactory) room. Thank you!

Russell Inn was an excellent experience. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Hotel was quiet night and day. Love the double doors that allow you to park at your entrance to access the room. While I found the restaurant to be expensive, the food and service was excellent. Servers were pleasant and the food was served quickly. The pool area was clean and well maintained. Nice set up with a large pool and water slide and hot tub and a kiddy pool off to the side. I saw the spa and patio but didn’t partake in either. The patio had BBQs available for guest use. Overall this is an excellent hotel and location.

Staff were great. A lot of choices for food. Can be a little pricey, but it’s also all the way in Russell. Enjoyed my stay, no issues.

My husband and my self had vechile troubles and stayed at the Russel Inn in Manitoba! We have never met such helpful and welcoming people! They provided us with mechanics phone numbers. The rooms are clean and comfortable the food is go!The staff is amazing! They made an unfortunate delay in our trip into a more than comfortable experience! Great people and a great Town !

The Russell Inn was recommended by family in the area . What a wonderful surprise. The room was exactly what we wanted. The front desk clerk was delightful. Parking was right in front of our room, for easy unloading. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and portions were plentiful. There was a Tim Hortons across the parking lot. The pool and hot tub were a perfect temperature, with plenty of towels. So far, our to favourite stop on our cross Canada trip!

I was travelling from Saskatoon to Brandon and decided to stop into the Russell Inn Restaurant after seeing numerous signs along my journey. I was by myself and first asked for a water. I could tell he was annoyed right away. The glass he brought me was a bit larger than a children’s glass and it was full of ice. Then I asked for the Denver omelette with French fries as I seen on the menu they looked like steak fries or fries with no coating. I also asked for cracked eggs vs liquid eggs and well done. I didn’t realize a Denver was just eggs and green onions. All my life I was mislead. The fries were coated. Not even close to what the pictures on the menu show. I think they need to upgrade the menu and let people know what in in the Denver omelette and redo the pictures with the battered fries. Never once did he ask me if I wanted more water. Came by once to see if everything was ok and I didn’t want to raise a stink so I let it be. I had to go up to pay. Never seen him again. I just know I could have spent the exact same and got for A&W breakfast sandwiches and they would have been better. The reason for the 4 stars? I didn’t stay in them but they looked quaint. The one star is for the waiter. Not any other staff.

Perfect place to stay with our school trip to Asessippi Ski hill. Pool is a little strong with chlorine but otherwise very welcoming to a large group of teenagers. They also have security in the halls at night and mark the doors so kids can't sneak around during the night when on school trips.

First time staying here, gotta say as much as the rooms are older, it's clean. Has all the amenities from a good size fridge and microwave. The service tops it as staff is very helpful and friendly. Great location after a busy day outside on the ski hill. You get to relax in the pool or hot tub. Restaurant food has alot of options and it all taste great. We will be back!
